🕊️ Birdie Hair & Skincare Returns Policy

At Birdie, we want you to love every little thing you order from us — from your first foamy hair wash to your final styling spritz. But if something’s not quite right, don’t stress — our returns process is simple, fair, and totally Aussie Consumer Law–approved.

💌 How Returns Work

You’ve got 30 days from the day your order lands on your doorstep to request a return.
To qualify, your item must be:

  • In the same condition you received it — unused, unopened, and looking as fresh as a sea breeze.

  • In its original packaging with all tags attached.

  • Accompanied by your receipt or proof of purchase.

To start your return, send us a quick email at info@birdiehair.com.au.

Once your return is approved, we’ll send you a return shipping label and all the info you need to send your item safely back to:

Please note: Items sent back without requesting a return first won’t be accepted (we don’t want your goodies to go missing!).

If you’re returning from outside Australia, allow a little extra time — shipping can take longer depending on where your parcel is flying in from.

💔 Damaged or Faulty Items

We always want your Birdie order to arrive in perfect condition. But if your product is faulty, damaged, or we accidentally send you the wrong item — contact us right away at info@birdiehair.com.au and we’ll make it right, fast.

Under Australian Consumer Law, you’re entitled to a replacement or refund if a product is faulty, not as described, or doesn’t do what it’s supposed to.

🚫 What Can’t Be Returned

Because of hygiene reasons (and to keep everyone’s hair and skin happy), we can’t accept returns on:

  • Used or opened beauty products

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Custom or limited-edition items

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases (yep, even if they smell amazing)

If you’re unsure, just reach out before returning — we’re happy to help!

🔁 Exchanges

Want to swap it for something else? The quickest way is to return your original item (once approved), and then make a separate purchase for the new one. Easy breezy.

💳 Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll let you know if your refund’s been approved.
If it’s all good, your refund will be sent to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Just a heads up — banks can take a little while to process refunds. If it’s been more than 15 business days since approval and your refund still hasn’t shown up, drop us a line at info@birdiehair.com.au.

🇦🇺 Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

We follow Australian Consumer Law to the letter (and spirit!). That means:
If a product is faulty, unsafe, doesn’t match its description, or isn’t fit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, even after the 30-day period.

We’ll always do our best to keep things fair, transparent, and fuss-free — just how we like it at Birdie.
