About you

      • You must have completed a Certificate III in Hairdressing

      • Strong communication skills

      • A passion for hairdressing

The Internship is designed for

      • ‘Fast Track’ students struggling to find work in the Hairdressing Industry

      • Hairdressers looking to up skill after an absence from the Industry

      • Hairdressers working from home wanting to keep up to date

      • Hairdressers who have lost confidence

Course details

      • Every Monday and Wednesday 10am-4pm

      • 12 weeks training Internship in salon working on clients in a real salon situation

      • Option of 8 week Part Time Graduate position of paid salon work with the possibility of a permanent position

         Intake 1

      • February 25th-May 22nd (12 weeks Internship) (no classes Labour Day and Easter Monday)

      • May 23rd-July 17th ( 8 week paid Graduate position)

      • Applications close Friday 15th February @ 5pm


         Intake 2

      • June 3rd-August 26th (12 weeks Internship) (no classes Queen’s Birthday)

      • August 29th-October 23rd (8 weeks paid Graduation position)

      • Applications close Friday 24th May @ 5pm



        Intake 3

      • September 9th-November 27th (12 weeks Internship)

      • November 28th-January 22nd 2020 (8 weeks paid Graduation position)

      • Applications close Friday 30th August @ 5pm

Important info

      • We will conduct a short phone interview after receiving your application to help us tailor the Internship to your needs

      • You must complete 22 out of the 24 training days to be eligible for a paid Graduation position

      • You will be required to pay a $500 holding fee to secure the Internship which will be refunded after the 12 weeks once 20 of the 24 training days are completed. Less than 20 full days of attendance will forgo the return of the holding fee.

      • These Internship positions are highly sought after so please be sure you can commit and use your time wisely
